Five things you should know!

You need to be born again:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"...except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

You cannot save yourself:

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us..." (Titus 3:5)

Jesus Christ is your Saviour:

"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

You must repent, believe and be saved:

"...repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Today is the day to become a Christian:

"...behold, now is the day of salvation." (2nd Corinthians 6:2)

Repent: Turn from your sins

Confess: To God that you are a sinner

Believe: That Jesus Christ died and rose the third day for your sins

Salvation: "And thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9)

Junior Church Department

2 year old through 2nd grade. These classes go on during the Worship service. It is sometimes easier for children to understand the Word of God on their own level during Junior Church. It is geared to be like a Worship service, so that when the children become third graders they may be able to adjust better during Adult Worship. We have seen many of these children become more mature and able to adjust very well when they enter the Adult Worship service. We pray that this will also help them whe...

Sunday School Department

2 year old through 12th grade. The Bible is taught in all age groups and grades. When we first started Sunday school, we had many ages and grades together. We have it broken down to six separate classrooms. We've seen in the last 20 years some of our children that went through the Sunday school classes that are now in Bible college. The Sunday school teachers had a part in these children's spiritual growth.

Bible Study

Wednesday Night Bible Study. The adults who do not assist in Awana go to the sanctuary for prayer time and a verse-by-verse study of the Bible.

Wednesday Night Awana

3 year old through 12th grade. This is one of our best ministries. With our new building, we are able to reach out to the community better. During Awana, the children have 30 minutes of activity, 30 minutes of memorizing scripture, and 30 minutes of teaching. The adults who do not assist in Awana go to the sanctuary for prayer time and a verse-by-verse study of the Bible. We have seen children and teens become better Christians during our Awana program. We have seen many of them grow during th...

CHAOS

Christians Hyped About Our Saviour. Ask any of the young people in our youth department, and they will tell you how much they love the special bond that has come about in their group. They have gone to camp together, on mission trips together, and countless outings and bonfires: whatever it is, this group adamantly prefers to take it on together. As adults, there are few things that warm our hearts more than seeing our children, growing into an engaging adulthood and reaching out to one anothe...

Ladies' and Mens' Ministry

These ministries meet about once a month. They are completely separate from our regular service times, and usually we meet together on a Tuesday night. Pastor Tom conducts the men's meeting and his wife, Sandy, leads the women's meeting. These times are intended to be a great way to discuss issues that are relevant to these particular groups. They have been a real blessing for those who attend.

Discipleship Ministry

Discipleship. When a Christian wants to get grounded or learn more about the basics of Christianity, they will often begin this program. It is a one-on-one program where one person shares basic truths with another person. The results have been very good. There is no timetable for finishing the 16 lessons, and the sessions are meant to be a time where no question is off-limits. The average time for finishing has been nine months.

Adult Activities

We have various activities throughout the year. Just a few of the countless ventures have been the yearly Sweetheart and Christmas banquets, pot luck dinners, volleyball and family skating.

Missions

Pray for Our Missionaries. We support 35 mission works financially! "Prayer" is the best support we can give! "I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day." (2nd Timothy 1:3)

Music Department

It has been a slow process as the music department has grown and flourished, but our time of worship through music has become very dear to us. Many of the amazing teens in the youth group participate in our Praise team. The hymns and times of musical worship have accomplished many things in our hearts, and God uses it in our lives as we identify with the messages others have written as a witness of what God has done in their lives.

Van Ministry

This is a fairly new ministry for our church. We are starting out with one van, which has been picking up children and adults who cannot make it to church on their own. This is always a real blessing to those who otherwise could not come.

Puppet Ministry

We started this a few years ago, and it has been a great treasure not only for the children who are delighted with the puppets but also for the teens and adults who have volunteered for the ministry. God uses the messages of the skits to minister spiritual and life lessons to all who are touched by this special program.

Special Message

  • Why No Sunday Night Service?
    From Pastor Tom Williams.

Many have asked me why we do not have a Sunday night service. First of all, let me start off by saying Sunday night service is not in the Bible and it is simply a choice for a church to have it or not. It is the tradition of many churches, and that is okay. We live in a different society than we did forty years ago, whether we like it or not.
